My social network icons are actually the "social homes" wordpress plugin. I'm afraid it can only be used on a self-hosted wordpress blog.
But there are tons of free social network icons out there. Here is one resource: http://divageekdesigns.com/2008/06/02/more-icons/
For more just google "social network icons".

Hi Yamile,

Thank-you for you in-depth technical coverage in support of the arts and artists pursuing online development in promotion of our creative works!

I am curious about the incredibly compact icons at the top of your page here, linking folks to your other web-presence sites. I also would like to link others between all my cyber-efforts! Can you fill us in on how to do that? (facebook, flickr, email, twitter, the deep internet search sources, etc...)

Interesting list of blogs. As a pro-photographer (and internet marketer) it took me a while to figure out the best way to market my photography. Now with lead-generation marketing and capturing names and email addresses before letting people see the photography, I build my list and can go back to them over and over... and my sales have soared.

Hi everybody,
I have some marketing info all of you may be interested in...
First a quick bio.

I have been selling art for about 15.5 years and have a degree in direct response marketing. I have owned retail stores that sell art, sold art through direct mail, used direct marketing to drive qualified prospects to gallery shows, done marketing consulting with galleries and artists, etc.

Several years ago, the Direct Marketing Association honored me with their most prestigious award, a Gold Echo, for a campaign I did for Mazda USA.

Back in October, when the financial crisis happened, my phone rang off the hook with artists and gallery owners asking me what to do. I have been trying to help as many as I can, but my time is extremely limited.

Recently, what I decided to do was start The Free Successful Art Marketing E-Course. The e-course is Free. By offering the e-course, I can help alot more people. I have limited this class to the first 300 artists that sign up for it. This way I can work with each artist on a more individual basis.

To Find out more information about the course go here...
http://www.charlesgeorge.com/freeartmarketingecourse.htm

To actually sign up for the course visit this link..

http://www.charlesgeorge.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=22&products_id=24

Hopefully, this will be helpful to those artists interested in learning all about the direct response marketing techiniques that have allowed me to be so successful.

Warmest Regards,

Charles

PS- I am also going to include an art marketing blog, so I can interact with each artist and answer questions he/she may have. Remember the course is Free and only 300 artists are going to be allowed to join the course initially. So, if you are interested sign up today!!!

Cheers for now!!
