Wordpress.com is a hosted blogging solution. They provide the web space but that also means you have limited options and you cannot use it for commerce.
Wordpress.org lets you download the software itself and install it on your own web space which of course means you need a web host account.
As you want to start a freelance business you should go with wordpress.org.

I think that the information given here is really good. Also the look and feel of the site is great – just as what an art selling site should be like.

I also think that it is important for a website owner to understand and implement ways that will help her in getting constant traffic from the internet without having to spend much money – lesser the better and zero would be best! After all as they say – the money is in the traffic.
